Collectible, hand carved, original black Bakelite bead, early 20th century.
This large bead has flat sides and deep, inward curved grooves. The flat central face has two opposing leaf or bud etchings. Two holes through the back form a curved tunnel.
Wonderful as an adornment on a necklace, or bezel set in fine jewellery.
