Collectible, hand carved, original black Bakelite button, early 20th century.
This large button has flat sides and concave rim edge with six deep cuts towards the top face.
The top face has a slightly raised, central, smooth circle, with a lightly etched series of concentric circles towards a fine rim. Metal loop shank.
Wonderful as a feature button on an overcoat, or set in jewellery pieces.
