This collectible black glass press-moulded button has gold gilding on the face. The design has a floral motif flowing from the edge to the centre, in a raised overlapping effect; black painting has been applied to the face after gilding.
 
These buttons have not been well stored before coming to us; there is some wear in the face black ares, exposing the gold gilding.
